My husband and I decided on an adventure elopement out of state so finding vendors was difficult. We originally booked one but unfortunately he double booked us so we were left scrambling to find another one 30 days out. I came across Rev Katherine Dupree online by coincidence and I am forever grateful! Our elopement consisted only of my husband and I and Rev even came over to our Airbnb before the ceremony so I could get ready with another girl. Our time bonding, talking and even helping me get ready meant so much to me and made her marrying us so much more intimate. She drove 3 hours from home, hiked up the side of a mountain in the middle of a cloud, sat through our entire photoshoot and then went and celebrated with us after! We had THE BEST DAY EVER and she played such a huge role. We can't thank her enough for making our day possible. 10000% would recommend!”

Rev. Dupree is an incredible story teller and officiant. I was so hesitant to find an officiant after a difficult experience with my religious community. Reverend Katherine was our officiant for our small micro wedding near Asheville in October 2021 and one of the best parts of our wedding. We were planning our wedding from out of state so there are some nerves that come with doing everyone sight unseen but Katherine was great about checking in and updating us in the lead up to the wedding. She really took the time to get to know us and go over what we wanted for our ceremony which resulted in a very personal and intimate wedding. Many of our guest raved about her ceremony and said she was one of the best officiants they’ve ever seen. She also played the violin while I was walking down the aisle which was and amazing touch/ experience in the mountain setting. Would definitely recommend her services to anyone looking for an officiant.

I knew as soon as I had the first zoom call with Katherine that she would be a perfect match to be the officiant at the celebration of our perfect match! She was so responsive, personable- her quirky awesomeness and style was just an amazing breath of fresh air! Katherine was EXCELLENT and my only wedding planning regret is that we didn’t hire her in the first place. The day before our wedding, our original officiant tested positive for Covid and arranged for Katherine to stand-in. We met her for the first time at our rehearsal that day and she instantly had us at ease despite the last-minute switch up.
Katherine has a calming and friendly presence and she executed our ceremony flawlessly. We had numerous people come up to us after the ceremony and ask us if she was a close friend of ours because of how personal her delivery was. Reverend Katherine was everything we could have asked for in an officiant. She was courteous, thoughtful, and always made us feel at ease. The ceremony script that she created was personal and resonated with many of those in attendance. We received numerous compliments on the quality of the ceremony; many believed that we must have known Reverend Katherine for years for her to shine such a light on our commitment to one another.
In addition to officiating our ceremony, we opted to do the "Gather and Awaken Date Night" which was an intimate and thought provoking experience. Reverend Katherine graciously hosted us in her lovely home and wined and dined us while probing the intricacies of our relationship. The food was delicious, but the insight we received was even more fulfilling.

Y'all, Katherine is the best. Totally open and receptive to everything we asked for, and so down to earth and easy to talk to. TONS of our guests came up to us after and kept talking about how awesome Katherine was through the entire ceremony process. We also opted to do a grounding ceremony before the wedding as we (bride and groom) are easily stressed out, and it was so beneficial for us on our special day.
